TCA Eastern Division 2008 Fall York Meet
TCA Eastern Division will hold it's
Fall York meet on October 16-18, 2008. This
meet is held 2 times annually at the York, PA Interstate fairgrounds, 334 Carlisle Avenue,
which is located approximately 20 miles South of Harrisburg, PA. It is the largest
toy train meet in the world. There will be 9 different trading halls filled
with sellers from all over the country. All halls open for trading
on Thursday at 12:00 noon. Saturday trading ends at 2:00 PM. There will also be
several collector's group meetings, including a Marx Show & Tell, a 'OO' Gauge meeting, a Gilbert
Get-together, an Ives & Litho Group meeting and a Cast Iron Floor Train get-together.

2008 Cal-Stewart Meet
The 35th Annual Cal-Stewart meet will be held Friday, Saturday
and Sunday, November 21st, 22nd & 23rd, 2008, in Southern California at the Pasadena Convention Center, 300 E.
Green St., Pasadena, CA 91101. This is the largest toy train
meet west of the Mississippi River. There will be table sales, raffles, displays,
auctions, operating layouts, train races, a demolition derby and a cocktail reception. This meet
is open to all members in good standing of all toy train related or model
railroad clubs for all events, all three days, as well, the meet is open to the public
on Sunday afternoon only. For more information visit

The 2009 TCA National Convention
The J.W. Marriot Desert Ridge Resort in North Phoenix/Scottsdale Arizona will be the site of the 55th TCA
National Convention. This convention will be hosted by the TCA Desert Division.
In 2002 the TCA National Board of Directors unanimously approved
a request by Desert Division to shift the National Convention date
from June to July, 2009. This exception will facilitate
the use of the Desert Ridge Resort as the convention hotel and
means the attendees in 2009 will be staying in a five star resort, complete
with 4 acres of pools, 100,000 square feet of exhibition space, 950 rooms
(all with view balconies), two golf courses, and 9
